Register for the ELIA Regional Seminar in London!
21 September 2018, London
Hosted by Royal College of Art
We are excited to announce that ELIA will be in London this September! ELIA brings together its UK-members and a number of international speakers to talk about internationalisation in Higher Arts Education in a post-Brexit world.
The meeting will take place on 21 September 2018, hosted by the Royal College of Art
at their Battersea Campus in London.
ELIA may not be a gamechanger in Brexit negotiations but our network represents about 250 higher arts education institutions all over Europe - friends and colleagues who are keen to continue their excellent collaboration with the UK arts schools. On 21 September we want to reaffirm that connection but also provide you with some answers – about access to EU funding programs, about the status of the negotiations, student mobility and fees, and about how to collaborate successfully despite not being part of the EU anymore.
Our conversation will be opened by ELIA President Thomas Meier from the Zurich University of the Arts and will then be inspired by a number of speakers, namely inspired by a number of speakers, namely
- Thomas Jørgensen, Senior Policy Coordinator at the European Universities Association in Brussels
- Rebecca Walton, British Council EU Regional Director
- Professor L. Alan Winters, Director of the UK Trade Policy Observatory
