Open Position: Study and Research Coordinator at ENSAPC

(ENSAPC) is seeking a Study and Research Coordinator.
Under the authority of the director, and in close contact with the teaching staff (26 professors), the workshop managers (seven), the head of international relations and the administrative team, the selected candidate will coordinate the designing, structuring and implementation of the educational, artistic and research projects of the institution. He or she ensures the pedagogical coordination by articulating the course proposals carried by the professors and workshop managers, fine-tuning study plans to allow the successful execution of the curriculum and developing links with partner institutions and structures in the field of the contemporary arts.
The Study and Research Coordinator will also accompany professors and workshop managers in the design, structuring and implementation of research projects based on artistic practices and methods, contributes to the management of the school’s research laboratory and ensures the scientific responsibility of the practice-based PhD in the arts, implemented with partner institutions of the Paris-Seine University as part of the Graduate School Humanities, Creation and Heritage. He or she also contributes to the functioning of the school’s collective decision-making and discussion bodies.
Fully embracing transversality in experience, field, style, and medium, ENSAPC’s student-centred approach to teaching covers a wide range of disciplines spanning the visual arts, writing, the performing arts, film, and critical theory in collaboration with partners in France and abroad. To encourage a critical approach to contemporary challenges, ENSAPC is mobile, responsive, questioning, and attentive to new fields of knowledge that enable exploration of new territory.
