Jeanette Winterson speaking at the ELIA Biennial Conference

We are pleased to announce that Jeanette Winterson, award-winning English writer, will give the keynote on Thursday 22 November at the 15th ELIA Biennial Conference!

Jeanette Winterson is the author of seventeen books, including the bestseller Why Be Happy When You Could Be Normal?, Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit, Sexing the Cherry, and The Passion.

She has won many prizes, such as the Whitbread Award for Best First Novel, the John Llewellyn Rhys Prize, the E.M. Forster Award, and the Stonewall Award.

Jeanette will give an opening speech addressing the main theme of the conference and focus on the role of art and aesthetics in building the resilience.
