Fannac Fund: Travel grants for the mobility of artists and cultural operators
Fannac Fund, the brand new international non-profit organisation has been launched recently and dedicated to the mobility of artists and cultural operators based in Europe, the Arab World and the Middle East.
Fannac Fund (fannac, meaning "your art" in Arabic) aims to respond rapidly and directly to artist or cultural operator needs wishing to travel to meet colleagues, develop partnerships, take part in residencies, training programmes, conferences and build lasting and fair exchanges.
Organized around the expertise of Angie Cotte and Ferdinand Richard, who ran the Roberto Cimetta Fund for a number of years, as well as the expertise of Chaymaa Ramzy from Egypt, Davinia Galea from Malta, Omar Berakdar from Syria and Damien Helly from France who are all recognized professionals in the cultural sector, this new initiative aims to launch the first call for applications for travel grants in the Autumn 2019
(the website: www.fannacfund.org will be launched soon).
This call will be accessible to individuals, for travel and visa costs only, and the applicants will be selected by a panel of independent experts.
