Welcome to our newest member: Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts
Teaching and research, intensive practical relevance, and internationality characterise the performance of the Hanover University of Applied Sciences. With more than 10,000 students, the university is one of the largest universities of applied sciences in Lower Saxony and the second largest university in the state capital of Lower Saxony.
Founded in 1971 from different predecessor institutions, Hanover University of Applied Sciences offers a very wide range with more than 60 accredited courses in five faculties located in several locations in the city of Hanover.
Internationally-oriented and regionally-anchored, the university offers an extremely broad range of subjects. In addition to engineering, economics and social sciences, a variety of media and creative courses of high international renown training quality are represented, especially at the Expo Plaza location. Hanover University is always keeping into consideration the ways the working world is ever changing and how they can respond to these changes with their range of courses.
Small learning groups, application-oriented training in the field of research as well as numerous further training opportunities for different target groups are characteristics that distinguish this university's unique teaching methods The Hanover University of Applied Sciences is now also an “Open University”.
