ELIA at Stakeholders' Meeting on the European Agenda For Culture
ELIA Executive Director Maria Hansen represented ELIA at the Stakeholders' Meeting on the European Agenda for Culture in Brussels on 19 February.
The event was hosted by the European Commission and brought together 70 important organisation from the cultural sector to hear their opinions and recommendations on what the new agenda for culture should look like.
The new European Agenda for Culture is one of the outcomes of the communications on "Strengthening European Identity through Education and Culture", published after the Leaders' Summit in Gotheburg in 2017. The EC is developing a new Cultural Agenda with 'emphasis on promoting a European identity through culture and values
