The Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice
, Poland, offers 2 new Master’s programmes in English:
Inclusive Design: Health and Social Well-Being
prepares the graduates to face and tackle the complex role of design in improving the quality of life, well-being and public health by including users in the design process.
Designing Reading Experience and Interactive Storytelling
focuses on design challenges related to the experience of reading, that is to the analysis and comprehension of content and to the communication of ideas, concepts and solutions by means of employing universal techniques of story-telling based on narratives, interaction, and on time-based media.
The Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice was founded as a branch of a Wrocław institution, and later for nearly 50 years functioned as part of Poland’s oldest art university – the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. Currently, the AFA has 2 faculties, 600 students and 100 teachers.
