3rd Annual SHARE Conference Brussels
24-25 May 2013

More Speakers Added!

Hosted by LUCA Brussels the third and final installment in the SHARE conference series takes place 24-25 May 2013 and will cap off the SHARE network project.

Over two days of presentations, break-out groups, workshops and discussions, this international conference will focus on the innovative character of creative research and the embedding of creative research in European Policy on Research, Culture and Innovation.

The programme now features a conversation
with Peter van der Hijden in the framework of the Break Out Group Advocacy Tools. Hijden will relate his experience as former Head of Sector Higher Education Policies at the European Commission DG Education and Culture and his work for many years on the Erasmus programme and the Bologna Process. Van der Hijden now works at DG Research and Innovation, dealing with universities and researchers in the context of Innovation Union, European Research Area and Horizon 2020.

How to Apply
To nominate your city, please write an application in which you outline why you wish to be the host of the 14th ELIA Biennial Conference. Please explain the venue possibilities, the financial support and possible partnerships you foresee.

The ELIA Executive Group will select a maximum of 3 venues that will be further investigated through a visit of Kieran Corcoran, ELIA President and Carla Delfos, ELIA Executive Director.

Deadline for proposals is 15 May 2013.

The Utrecht School of the Arts opens its doors to the 6th ELIA Teachers’ Academy 2013 - Preparing the Artist of Tomorrow held 24 - 26 June 2013 in Utrecht and Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

The Teachers’ Academy is an international platform for ideas and practices for teachers in artschools in Europe and beyond. Its main aim is to contribute to the professional development for lecturers in higher arts education.

The current delegates list is now online and full papers and presentations are now available for viewing in the presenters pages.
