LEADERSHIP SYMPOSIUM:
Early Bird Deadline: 31 July!

What and how do we teach and do research in between cultures? Arts education has gone global and internationalisation is now one of the key strategies for the leaders of arts institutions.

Delegates of ELIA’s 2019 Leadership Symposium will engage into the challenges and opportunities of mapping the common ground. Yung Ho ChangJosephine Ho, François JullienPi LiAreti Markopoulou and Wang Jianwei will join the conversation and guide the delegates’ journey in exploring cross cultural collaborations between the East and the West, addressing the role of cultural differences and culture as a key resource.

Register now for the Early Bird tickets and reserve your seat for an immersive experience in collaborations across cultures!

Challenges of Doctoral Supervision, taking place on 24-25 September will develop around the triangulation of Artistic Research and focus on Mind Mapping Supervision and Ethics in Art, Supervision and Artistic Research.

The capacity for this event is limited. Register now to reserve your seat!

ELIA ACADEMY 2019

Catching the thread, ELIA Academy 2019 picks up the discussion on teaching and learning practices, taking it a step further and into the world of digitalisation.

On the 25-27 September, we will explore the emotional experience and immersion of mingling digitalisation with higher arts education, its societal extensions, and the new, coded forms of narrative and storytelling. We invite the technophiles and the technophobes to a discussion around the developing digital pedagogies, the implications on research and methodologies, as well as the digital fluencies surrounding the realm of arts and education.

This three-day conference is a life-long learning experience based on peer-to-peer learning and training methods. Please note you may be entitled to apply for Erasmus+ mobility funds to attend this event. Contact your national agency to find out more.

Start preparing your ideas and register now for ELIA Academy 2019!
