Becoming an Artist: Routes for aspiring artists and designers wanting to join an arts school

ELIA would like to invite its members to the ELIA Regional Seminar in Nantes Saint-Nazaire on 13-15 March 2019 hosted by Beaux-Arts Nantes Saint-Nazaire. The seminar invites colleagues to come together and actively discuss and analyse the existing models used for admissions processes to arts studies.

On Wednesday and Thursday, 16 and 17 January 2019 the newly formed ELIA Executive Group gathered in Amsterdam for their inaugural meeting! DAS Theatre hosted a meeting room which was bursting with bright new energy and ideas! The group set its goals for the upcoming year and created an action plan that reflects ELIA's ambitions and strategic focus. F.l.t.r:

ELIA Leadership Symposium 2019
20 - 22 November 2019 
Hangzhou, China 

The symposium will be hosted by China Academy of Art, known as the first arts university in China. During the programme, the delegates will have the opportunity to explore Hangzhou, one of the most renowned and prosperous Chinese cities; network and establish new connections with leaders of higher arts education institutions. On 21 November 2018, De Doelen opened its doors for the 15th ELIA Biennial Conference. Colleagues from all around the globe gathered In the effervescent and young city of Rotterdam to discuss resilience, urbanism and art education.
