The two-day dynamic event aims to stimulate critical debate on what is meant with cultural entrepreneurship in and outside academia.

8th ELIA Leadership Symposium: Explore the theme!
Interact with peers, share and compare experiences, explore new opportunities at the ELIA Leadership Symposium!

The symposium will be held from 29 November - 1 December 2017 and is hosted by University of Arts in Poznan.  Poland, a country that repeatedly experienced transitions during the last centuries, will provide the delegates an inspiring context for the overall theme of the symposium:  Heritage/Transition/Values.

Heritage says something about origins, it connects people to a shared belief system; it is often used as a political tool to further nationalistic goals or to create a feeling of togetherness. Since 1989, the former Eastern Bloc countries have been in a permanent state of transition; this sense of change is nowadays universal, urging leaders around the world to re-examine their values.

By sharing common experiences, doubts and hopes with peers, we will explore new discourses and investigate possible future solutions.
