NEW NOW Festival 2011
Call for Jury Members

Following the success of the NEW NOW Festival 2010 and 2009 we are delighted to announce a Call for jury members in different arts disciplines from all over Europe for an online selection procedure of projects from graduates in Higher Arts Education Institutions and Universities.
In order to expend our existing pool of jury members, we encourage colleagues from your institution or organisation to consider nominating jury members that can facilitate the selection procedure.

Selected experts are paid a fee of 250 €
The selection will take place online between 27 June – 6 July 2011

Profile
We are looking for persons with experience in one or more of the following categories:

•  Curating or managing a cultural institution
•  Running a festival
•  Working on a high level in public domains
•  Having a broad understanding of the processes in the field they work in
•  Experienced with selection procedures
•  Being a professional practitioner
•  Having an insight in higher arts education

We are looking for jury members in the following disciplines:

•  Visual Arts
•  Design
•  Theatre/Dance
•  Music/Sound
•  Film

Proposals have to be received by the ELIA office the latest 15 April 2011

The call for proposals for Languages through Lenses is expiring Friday 25 March.
We are looking for proposals for new audiovisual productions that are innovative, witty, creative, unexpected, motivating and that explore the potential of multilingualism and the challenges it creates.
