DOMINANCE // DIVERSITY // DISRUPTION
Only few days left for Early Bird Registration
Deadline 20 September
Join DOMINANCE // DIVERSITY // DISRUPTION taking place in Cape Town, South Africa, 1-4 December 2015.
Hosted by the African Arts Institute, the ELIA Leadership Symposium brings together influential leaders from higher arts education institutions and universities across the globe for an important and timely discussion on current issues in leadership in higher arts education.
Post-apartheid South Africa is a laboratory of social transformation. Working within this context we will address this changing world and reflect on how key notions of aesthetics, standards of excellence and ‘the canon’ play out in a culturally diverse world. How do leaders of institutions - themselves in the process of transformation - disrupt, reinforce or nuance the tensions between the economic, the political, the cultural and the artistic dimensions?
Intrigued? Register Now! Only 100 spots available.
