Artistic research, critical practices and
contemporary cities

Full Programme available online!

SHARE, in collaboration with the Aarhus School of Architecture, organises the SHARE Conference Aarhus to be held in Aarhus, Denmark from 20-21 June 2014.

Visit the SHARE Conference Aarhus Registration Page for more information and to register now. The deadline to register is 6 June. Delegates are advised to book accommodations ASAP due to limited availability.

Programme Highlights:
The programme features two days of keynote speeches, presentations of doctoral research and workshops covering such topics as Horizon 2020: consortium building for EU funding applications; Research Assessment and Quality Criteria; Supervisors Training; and discipline specific sessions breaking out along the themes of the conference.

The organisers of the SHARE Conference Aarhus are pleased to announe that Kristine Jensen, architect, owner of Arkitekt Kristine Jensens Tegnestue - landscape architecture, planning & urban spaces, will be joining Martin Prominski of Leibniz University Hanover (Keynote: Design and artistic research in the contemporary city) and Cultural Theorist, Curator and Author Angelika Fitz (Keynote: Collaborative City - Collaborative Research).

The conference seeks to bring together artistic researchers, spatial practitioners, architects, urbanists, planners, designers, artists of all disciplines, musicians, composers, performers, activists, community organisers and city-dwellers to consider the question of the contemporary city as a site of enquiry, debate and political and professional contestation.
In this the fourth conference of the SHARE network (operating since 2010), we mark the beginning of a new phase of work for the ELIA/SHARE network through this collaboration with the Aarhus School of Architecture. In partnership with Aarhus, the SHARE dialogue on artistic research education moves further into the question of the key research themes emerging across arts (architecture, design, visual arts, performing arts, media arts…).
