M-learning: texting (SMS) as a teaching & learning tool in higher arts education

This presentation explores how m-learning can be used to higher arts education to provide students with a different type of learning opportunity. Building upon a solid pedagogical framework and research from University of Winchester (UK), this presentation will help participants think and decide how they could apply m-learning into their own educational contexts and pedagogical practices.
Most of us already use SMS on a daily basis for personal, social and professional purposes; let’s go one step further and use it to teach our arts students as well.
