The changing nature of technology is directly impacting how we tell stories. Students have become more comfortable both producing and consuming complex narratives and sharing them on line with friends in a broad and, often times, virtual social circle. Understanding how to leverage complex narratives in such an environment to teach through story is a big challenge for educators. Through an exploration of several projects dealing specifically with the way visual stories are told, this presentation hopes to shed light on the new power of digital storytelling.
