The new ELIA website is online now. ELIA is entering a whole new and more interactive era! The new website will offer a lot more features, for members and non members.
For starters it will give you a more accurate overview. Second, there will be a newsletter published, which gives you updated information about ELIA activities.
As of December there will be a whole new members area, where members can meet on a forum and talk about problems they experience in their research, but also about there successes.
Furthermore there is going to be a member search engine available for members. Members can find each other in a simple and effective way.

ELIA’s 9th Biennial Conference has started. From 25 – 28 October the Hogeschool Gent will kindly host this biennial event.
ELIA has chosen as the theme of the conference Art, Engagement & Education to reflect in a broad way key issues impacting on our disciplines, educationally and professionally, today. We now experience arts practices and arts education having to engage with societies and communities in different ways, contributing to and defending cultural diversity, social inclusion and participating in the contemporary realities of our communities.
