Danse Élargie: Call for Projects ~ 16-02-2012
Danse Élargie is a competition co-devised by Boris Charmatz and Emmanuel Demarcy Mota, respectively directors of the Musée de la danse, Rennes and the Théâtre de la Ville, Paris. Artists working in all disciplines, from across the spectrum of the visual and performing arts, are invited to create new work exploring the stage as an arena for experimental encounters between the arts. The event will be held on 16 and 17 June 2012 at the Théâtre de la Ville, in Paris.The only restrictions are the length of the finished work (maximum ten minutes), and the number of performers (minimum three). The deadline for registration is21 March 2012.
PATTERNS Lectures 2012/13: Call for Submissions ~ 13-02-2012
PATTERNS Lectures has launched a new call to encourage the development of university courses in the fields of art history, cultural studies and cultural sciences. The call addresses lecturers at public universities in Central and South Eastern Europe who offer study programmes in the fields of art history, cultural studies and cultural sciences and related fields.
Artistic Research Catalogue: Conference and Official Launch ~ 09-02-2012
On 1 and 2 March the concluding conference of the RAAK- international 'Artistic Research Project' will take place in the auditorium of the Royal Academy of Art in Den Haag. The conference will include the official launch of the Artistic Research Catalogue, an independently functioning and digital platform for the documentation, exposition and distribution of research in the arts worldwide.
