From the Airport
You will likely be arriving at the Vancouver International Airport (YVR), where there are more than a dozen international flights in and out every day. Located just 25 minutes from Granville Island and downtown there are several options to get from the airport.
The quickest way is to take a taxi which picks up directly outside the entrance of the Arrivals Lounge. The approximate fare to downtown Vancouver is between $28 – $32 CDN (taxes included).
The Canada Line provides rapid rail service to Richmond & downtown. Trains leave every Seven minutes from YVR, and a one-way trip to downtown Vancouver costs $8.75
A regular scheduled airport bus service operates between the airport and downtown Vancouver. Information on their departure times and pickup locations can be obtained from the Tourist Info staff at the airport.
